Left Handed Guitars

This is a beautiful left handed 2004 Taylor 214 with many upgrades. In 2004 the 214’s were still being made with solid Sapele back and sides, not laminate as they are now. It has a solid Sitka Spruce top, solid Sapele, (African Mahogany) back and sides, Sapele neck, Ebony fretboard and bridge. As you can see from the photos, the top and back are beautifully book matched. The neck is straight and fast, frets have plenty of life left in them and the action is low with no fret buzz.  As with all satin finish guitars they acquire a sheen where your arm rubs up against it and this guitar shows that along the lower bout.  The photos show the pick marks on the top and a small surface scratch on the back,(very hard to see it's so slight). Neither of these is structural, only cosmetic. The bridge has no gaps and shows no signs of bowing.  The sound of this guitar is a beautiful harmonic blend, somewhere between the crisp highs that Taylor is known for and the rich deep low end of a Martin.  The case shows some signs of life but is structurally perfect.

The upgrades to this guitar are as follows:

·         Gotoh, open back 18:1 Nickel tuners, I have a set of the same tuners in Gold if you'd prefer,(at no extra charge).

·         Bone nut and Taylor bone saddle

·         Ebony bridge pins with abalone dots

·         K&K “Pure Western" pickup, please check out the web for reviews of this pickup, it is the most natural and “woody” sounding pickup I’ve ever owned.

I have used light gage strings on this guitar since I have owned it, it has never been abused, comes from a smoke-free and humidity controlled home.  I have been selling left handed guitars on Ebay for over 10 years, so bid with confidence; here is some of my feedback:
