Get Ready... Up for auction is a LEFT HANDED, 1962 Jazzmaster Reissue in Black, from the Fender Japan Custom Craft Shop. DO NOT mistake this for less-than-perfect Japanese export models. This guitar was custom made for the domestic (Japanese) market and is superior in quality to the U.S. Custom Shop ( I own several Master Built Fenders and I am already used to opening them up and finding sawdust in the cavities. I haven't received one without having to send it back at least once for some idiocracy.) 

That being said, let's get down to it...

This guitar comes complete with:

1) An authentic Left Handed Fender Jazzmaster/Jaguar Case (product code: 0996111906).

2) An ALLPARTS Buzz-Stop (Jaguar and Jazzmaster Fanatics know exactly what this is for, but for the newbies, it is a REMOVEABLE piece of chrome, attatched with pre-existing screws to the vibrato plate. The strings pass underneath it, increasing the down-force over the bridge, erradicating the rattling commonly associated with these guitars. The guitar/vibrato plate incurrs zero damage from the addition of this wonderful device and sustain and clarity is improved 100 fold. A buzz stop is an integral component on a well playing Jazzmaster.) INSTALLED.

3) Seymour Duncan Vintage for Jazzmaster Pickups (1 neck, 1 bridge - professionally installed).

4) The original Vintage Jazzmaster Pickup boxes.

5) Aged Knobs, Switch Tips, Vibrato Arm Tip,  and Pickup Covers (Installed!).

6) The original LEFTY Vibrato Arm.

OUCH! If That's Not enough...

The guitar has just been professionally set up, the body cavity and reverse side of the pickguard has been fully shielded with professional grade copper foil, the rubber insulated wire has been replaced with vintage cloth wire, connected point to point by hand according to the original Leo Fender schematic and the circuitry has been star grounded through a 400V .33uF Mallory capacitor for the cleanest, most accurate '62 Jazzmaster sound possible.

Comments: I'm 53 and have been playing for over 40 years. I've owned 100's of guitars over the years and always come back to Jazzmasters. These pickups, to me, are the same as being able to buy a real vintage Fender pickup without the high price. I've compared these to Fender AV Jazzmaster, Japanese Jazzmaster and my real 1960 Fender Jazzmaster pickups. The Duncans are as good as any and better than all but the original 1960's. The tone is big, powerful, soulful. If you really like a clean Fender surf sound, nothing comes close.I was surprised that they came with the higher resistance rating on the neck pickup. Because of this is I did install them in opposite positions and have a nicely balanced pair. They are reverse wound to give the hum cancelling effect when both are on. Surf's up!

On a scale of 1 to 10, I give this pickup a: 10 Fantastic value

This guitar has never been played out, and has only been used for recording a couple of songs (literally two).

THE NECK IS PERFECTLY SRAIGHT AND HAS 100% OF IT'S FRET LIFE TO GO!

The pickguard has minor swirls (from setting it up more than from playing).

The guitar will be well packed and shipped in a timely manner. I promise that you will not find a better deal. Enjoy, and BID TO WIN!
