Custom Shop 1956 Reissue Les Paul GoldTop!
If you're left handed, we're sure you don't see
one of these every day. This rare lefty Custom
Shop GoldTop is a stunning looking and sounding
LP. The neck is fat and comfortable and an
absolute joy to play. The fretwork is perfect. The
Gibson P90's sound amazing. It is setup with 10's
and has very nice action - low enough to move
around fast but not so low as to choke off any
sustain. The combination of the neck profile, the
weight and the great setup all yield a rare LP
with phenomenal playability.

Item Details

The Custom Shop has nailed down every detail here
all the way to the upside down headstock logo ( if
you ordered a lefty LP in 1956 you got one with
one of the regular righty necks ). The Antique
Gold nitrocellulose lacquer finish is gorgeous and
has an amber glow to it that makes it look like it was
purchased in '56 and has aged gracefully over the
years. The Custom Shop P90's ring like bells and
have lots of rich creamy sustain. The '56 neck
profile finds the right balance between being fat
and fast. Not overlooking any details, the Custom
Shop has you covered with period correct
electronics too, featuring Bumble Bee capacitors
and CTS pots. All the details have been taken care
of to bring you a '56 LP without the vintage price
tag.

Overall Condition

This lefty Gibson Custom Shop Les
Paul GoldTop is in excellent condition. If you look
very hard you will be able to find a few faint
finish scratches on the back though they may not be
able to be seen in the pics. The top is excellent as
is the neck and hardware. The frets show almost no
signs of use at all. Everything is working as it
should and it plays and sounds like a fine Les Paul.

We pack and ship VERY carefully, but rest assured that if anything goes wrong with your shipment, we will make sure that you're taken care of. If the item is received in condition other than described we will happily refund your money.
