Left Handed Guitars

Sadly,
I'm selling my Japanese Lefty 3 Tone Sunburst Fender Jaguar. Where do I begin? I bought this
new last September. It was the dream guitar I've always wanted, but I had read about all the shortcomings of its design that made it difficult to play. Shortly
after I bought it I knew that some improvements could be made. I replaced the stock
bridge with a tune-o-matic roller bridge. That made a huge difference in both sustain and string stability in the saddle. Next, I replaced
the poor stock machineheads with locking Sperzels. I love them and they are on all
my guitars. After playing the neck for a while I realized that the vintage
radius neck (7.5”) was tough for me to play. I ordered a custom neck from
Warmoth last October. It features the stock scale (24”), Warmoth compound
radius, stainless steel medium jumbo frets, TUSQ nut, and vintage tint. The
neck construction is superb and is my third neck from Warmoth. These three components are Jaguar lover's biggest complaints about the stock setup. Along the way I
also experimented with different pickup combinations. I ordered a custom black
pickguard which is setup for an SH configuration. I also routed the body to accommodate
the humbucker. Currently the guitar is wired in the stock configuration. I found
this the most versatile and suited to the personality of the guitar. This
guitar plays really well as configured, far better than any stock jaguar out there! About the condition: This guitar is
very hard to distinguish from brand new. There are a few tiny dents on the
surface of the body. I tried to capture them in the pictures, but it was
difficult. There are a few faint scratches/swirls that are not visible unless
held up to the light. You will not be disappointed in the condition of this
guitar. I promise! It comes with all original paperwork including my invoice
for the Warmoth neck ($300). Also included are the original parts; the neck, bridge, tuners,
and the other pickguard. The original neck was drilled out for the Sperzel
tuners. There was some chipping on the finish of the neck, near the holes. The
guitar also comes with the brand new Fender padded gig bag. The tremolo arm is
included too. So, why am I selling it? After a year of ownership I found myself
not playing it much. I then realized it was because of the shorter neck scale.
My hands (brain) just couldn’t get used to it. It kills me to get rid of it
because it is just so stunningly beautiful. I still use it for certain
recordings. I’d love to just put it up on the wall to admire, but I also could use
the money for other things.
