This is a left-handed Hofner 500/1 bass that was purchased new in 1994. It offers a very characteristic warm tone reminiscent to that of a full-size string bass. Built to be as durable as its legacy, the compact-sized, easy-to-play, light-in-weight Vintage Reissue is equally at home in the studio or on stage.

The narrow neck and short scale length of 30 inches makes for optimum playability. The only blemish is on the left side of the headstock and can be seen in the last image. Everything else is in near mint condition. The electronics are all working as they should with a strong output. The current set up is with a set of flatwound strings.
